WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) was recognized for his pro-jobs and pro-growth record legislative record by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on Thursday. The Chamber presented Congressman Latta with the “Spirit of Enterprise” Award based on his voting record. Recipients of the award must receive a 70% on the Chamber’s scorecard from the previous year.

“The implementation of pro-growth and pro-jobs legislation has led to one of the best economies in a generation,” said Latta. “Whether it’s cutting taxes or removing overly burdensome regulations, the President and a Republican-led 115th Congress helped create an environment that’s been good for American businesses and their employees. I’m honored to receive the “Spirit of Enterprise” Award that shows my commitment to policies that create jobs, expand our economy, and increase wages for workers.”

The U.S. Chamber’s Spirit of Enterprise Award is given annually to members of Congress based on rankings it gives for key business votes outlined in its yearly online publication How They Voted. This is the 31st year that the U.S. Chamber has formally honored the accomplishments of this select group of members of Congress.
