Four people were charged following a disturbance Sunday afternoon in Kenton.

 

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, an officer on patrol observed an active fight in the 100 block of Brumm Street.

 

Two residents at that location, 41 year old David and 36 year old Staci Grogan, as well as 33 year old Teffany Lowry, of Richwood and 30 year old Alyssia Keels, of Kenton, were all issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

A Kenton man was arrested following an incident Sunday evening on West Franklin at North Leighton Streets.

 

According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the area to investigate a possible overdose.

 

At the scene, 59 year old Jonathan Harber was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence. 

 

He was also issued a summons for possessing drug paraphernalia.


A Kenton man is facing charges following an incident reported to police over the weekend.

 

According to the report report, a woman was assaulted by a named suspect at a house in the 200 block of South Market Street.

 

The victim was punched in the face several times and suffered a cut, disfigured nose and swelling. She was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital to be treated and to be checked for possibly more severe injuries.

 

The 32 year old male suspect is facing assault charges.

 

The incident remains under investigation.

A LaRue man was arrested on active warrants through the Hardin and Marion County Sheriff’s Offices.

 

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Main Street on a report about a suspicious person in the area of the Kenton Fire Department.

 

48 year old Ray Cline Jr. was taken into custody on the warrants.

A Missouri man was cited after Kenton police were dispatched over the weekend to investigate a report about a disabled vehicle.

 

The vehicle was located in front of Hardin Hills Health Center in the 1200 block of West Lima Street.

 

The driver of the car, identified as 20 year old Collin Saffle, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
