A Kenton man has been charged following an incident that occurred in downtown Kenton this past Tuesday afternoon.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, an intoxicated person was reported in front of the Kenton Municipal Building.
When officers attempted to arrest the suspect, he allegedly resisted and had to be carried into the police department, which is inside the city building.
24 year old Trenton Reed was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

An attempted breaking and entering occurred at a business in Kenton this week.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, an alarm was activated at Spirits 68 bar early this past Tuesday morning.
Officers arrived and found that the building was secure but there was possible light damage to a door on the building.
The incident is under investigation.
