A theft occurred at Subway in Kenton on Monday.
According to the Kenton Police Department report, two males came into the business located in downtown Kenton, and while making a purchase, they intentionally confused the employee at the register.
The scheme was used to steal $250 from the business.
The incident is under investigation.

A Kenton resident reported that the theft of mail has been occurring at his residence.
According to the Kenton Police Department report, the resident said he has not received mail over the last two weeks at his residence in the 400 block of East Franklin Street.
He said he checked with the post office and the mail carrier has been delivery mail during the time indicating the mail is being stolen.
No suspects were listed, and the incident is under investigation.
