Kenton Man Facing Charges Following Drug Overdose

A 28 year old Kenton man is facing drug charges following an overdose reported Monday afternoon.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of East Franklin Street where they found the man unconscious.
He was revived by emergency medical technicians from BKP and transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital.
Officers seized several drug related items at the scene.
The man is facing charges of possession of drugs, possessing drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is also expected to be charged with endangering children as there was a 2 year old child in the house at the time.
