Kenton Man Cited; Ada Man Injured in Upper Sandusky Crash

A Kenton man was cited following a crash in Upper Sandusky Monday morning.
According to the report from the Upper Sandusky Police Department, 47 year old Jason Wingfield was driving north on South Eighth Street, and he failed to stop in time to avoid a collision with a vehicle in front of him that was being operated by 44 year old Randall Preston Jr., of Ada, who was stopped for a red light at Henderson Avenue.
Moderate to heavy damage occurred to the vehicles.
Preston was transported to Wyandot Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Wingfield was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
