Kenton City Schools Board of Education Meets

The Kenton City Schools Board of Education met last night, for their final meeting before ending the school year.

 

On the agenda was the celebration of four Kenton City Schools staff who are retiring, they are Kathy Abbott, Lori Paul, Tom Taylor, and Deb Purcell. Superintendent, Jennifer Penczarski, thanked them for their years of service to the district. Deb Purcell, who teaches Allied Health and Nursing said, “Thank you to everyone in Hardin County and Kenton City Schools for welcoming all of the Ohio Hi-Point satellite programs to the district.” Purcell went on to say that she is glad to be ending her career at Kenton City Schools.

 

The Board also approved a list of seniors who are eligible for graduation. Kenton High Schools class of 2019 consists of 135 seniors will hold its graduation this Saturday, with the location depending of weather conditions.

 

The next meeting of the Kenton City Schools Board of Education will be June 20th at 7 o’clock.
