Kenton City School Board of Education Held a Meeting Monday Night

In last night’s meeting the Board walked through the Kenton City Schools District Report for 2018-2019.
Some highlights of the report are financial, transportation and various club updates. The report also includes information on athletics and curriculum.

Next, during the meeting Athletic Director Bret Purcell gave a report on the 2019 sports season so far. It was mentioned that football coach Bret Fackler was named coach of the year. The Field House has also received some maintenance which involved putting signs on doors and various areas, rugs and wall graphics. Purcell said as more teams begin scheduling the Field House for use he assures council that the space will be in constant use. The council also recognized that Bret Purcell had been named Athletic Director of the year.
Finally it was confirmed that Deb Purcell be recommended as the Ohio HI-Point representative for a three year term beginning January first of 2020.
The next meeting of the Kenton City School Board of Education will be held on Monday December 16th at 7 P.M.
