Kenton Boys Soccer Team Stays Unbeaten on the Season

Kenton won the Battle of the 309 Cup 4-0 and moved to 3-0 on the year.

Nick Anderson started the scoring for the Wildcats 5 minutes into the game when he took a throw in from Reed Cook and beat the keeper.

Later in the half Nick Anderson returned the favor and found Reed Cook for a goal to make it 2-0 going into halftime.

In the 2nd half Patrick Bartlett scored on a header off a free kick from Hunter LaRue and the final tally was a KP Miller goal off an assist from Reed Cook. Kenton outshot Ada 12-0 in the contest and had 13 corners on the evening.

Brent Rader recorded the 2nd shutout on the year for Kenton.

Kenton travels to Upper Sandusky on Saturday when the jv contest will start at 5 and the varsity contest at 7.
