Kenton Beats Celina to Advance to District Final in Boys Soccer

Kenton won a 3-0 district semifinal showdown with Celina on Monday evening.

With the win Kenton moves on to play Shawnee on Thursday evening at 6 in Elida for a district final showdown.

Kenton started things quickly with just under a minute into the contest Nick Anderson found the back of the net off an assist from Reed Cook. With Under 10 minutes in the first half Nick Anderson crossed in to KP Miller for a 2-0 lead right before the half. Kenton kept the pressure on all 2nd half and finished off the scoring when KP Miller went beast mode from half and scored his 2nd goal with 15 minutes left for the final tally on the evening. Brent Rader recorded 2 saves in goal for the Cats who recorded their 11th shutout on the season.

With the win the Cats improved to 11-3-4 on the season.
