Kathy Ann Taylor

Kathy Ann Taylor, 75 of Kenton passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019.

She was born on May 18, 1943 in Kenton to the late Donald and Polly

(Fling) Buroker.  On September 5, 1964 she married James I. Taylor and he survives along with two daughters; Shauna (Sam) Suder of Chargrin Falls, OH and Melissa (DeWayne) Weaver of Kenton.  She is also survived by two brothers; Robert L. (Theresa) Buroker, D. Jack (Sue) Buroker both of Kenton, eight grandchildren; Kearney and Sam Suder, Taylor (Seth) Weaver-Rosamilia, Brady (Hannah) Weaver, Matthew Weaver, Gabrielle Weaver, Alexandr Weaver, Raisa Weaver and a great grandson, Clayton DeWayne Weaver.

Mrs. Taylor was in the work force for over 40 years as a Kenton City Council Clerk and Comptroller of Records for the Hardin County Schools Department of Education.  She arranged all county-wide events for the Hardin Schools for 18 years.  She also worked for two local banks as a personal banker and loan officer. Kathy was the originator and coordinator of the Elks Teenager of the Month program. for the Kenton Elks #157  She was also a Ambassador for the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Society Singers and the Soroptimist Club.  Kathy was also a member of St. John’s Evangelical Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

Visitation for Kathy will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 5:00

– 8:00 p.m. at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Randall Forester officiating.  Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Kathy to Universal Hospice or the Dementia Society of America.  Online condolences can be expressed to the
