Jennings Appointed to Open Seat on Ridgemont Board of Education

The Ridgemont Schools Board of Education held a special meeting Thursday evening to fill an open seat on the board.
There were three vacancies, and only two filed to be in the election this past November.
That meant the Ridgemont Board of Education needed to appoint a Board Member.
According to the minutes of the special meeting, the Board interviewed candidates who sent in applications for the open position and then approved a resolution appointing Matt Jennings for the seat that will expire in December of 2023. The term will be open for election in 2021.
Jennings is a 1989 graduate of Ridgemont and is the Chief Executive Officer of Quest Federal Credit Union.
