James A. Watson

James A. Watson age 63, of Dunkirk, died Sunday August 16, 2020 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

He was born on March 19, 1957 to the late James O. Watson and Mary A. (Shane) Watson of Wharton. James married Brenda K. Curtin on September 22, 1979 and she survives in Dunkirk. He is also survived by his 2 daughters Nicole K. Watson of Findlay and Tina K. Watson of Dunkirk, 2 grandsons Stefan Deems and Ryker Deems, his sister Teresa (Robert) Mason and many nieces and nephews.

James was a 1976 graduate of Riverdale High School. He received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Army. James retired from Cooper Tire in Findlay after 30 years of service. He was a life long member of the Wharton Church of God. He loved riding horses and feeding and watching the birds in his yard as well as collecting baseball cards. James enjoyed the company of his dog Abby and mostly loved spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 11am on Thursday August 20, 2020 at Clark Shields Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11am also at the funeral home with Pastor David Odegard officiating. Interment to follow at Hueston Cemetery. Covid guidelines will need to be followed.
