Hardin County JFS Closing Lobby Windows

Written by on March 19, 2020

Hardin County Department of Job and Family Services, under the guidance of the Hardin County Board of County Commissioners will be closing the lobby windows to the public until further notice.

The agency is not closing and critical services will continue.

Clients will be asked to submit all applications and verifications to the agency via the agency’s Drop Box located in the first-floor entryway of the annex building during normal business hours.

This box will be monitored and cleared often.

All Documents will be processed as normal and staff will mail or email a receipt to verify the agency has received the submitted documentation or will contact clients via phone if a phone interview is being scheduled, or if we have any questions.

Any Customers making a cash payment for Public Assistance, may make the payment in person. Contact your caseworker and arrangements will be made. DO NOT LEAVE THE PAYMENT IN THE DROP BOX.

This is an ever-changing plan, and additional information will be shared as changes are made.
