Fire Destroys Sawmill on TR 265 South of Kenton This Morning

A sawmill was destroyed by fire this morning.
According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched around 5:45 this morning to 17335 Township Road 265, which is a sawmill owned by Albert Miller.
A building on the property and its contents were listed as a total loss.
The cause has not yet been determined, and the fire remains under investigation.
Mutual assistance was provided by fire departments from Mt. Victory and Ridgeway.
There were no injuries, and firefighters were on the scene for just under four hours.
