A Findlay woman was cited following an incident in Wyandot County Monday.

According to the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office report, a deputy was dispatched to the 1500 block of State Highway 568 to investigate a complaint about a car that caused damage on the property.

A resident said the vehicle drove through the yard and struck landscape pavers, causing damage to the landscape and the foundation of the garage.

The vehicle was located down the road in the ditch.

While the deputy was writing the report, the driver of the car, identified as Deshonda Thompson, showed up and said that as she was driving a truck came over in her lane and she swerved to avoid a collision causing her to go into the yard.

As she told the story the second time, the details were said to have changed.

Thompson was cited for driving with a suspended license and failure to control.
