Findlay School Personnel Supplying Sensory Bags to First Responders
Written by WKTN Staff on January 16, 2020
Members of the Findlay City Schools have been working on a project with the Findlay Police Department and Findlay Fire Department to outfit every emergency vehicle with a sensory bag to assist on calls involving those with Autism.
The items in these bags can have a calming effect and can aid first responders.
Each box will cost $35, and they are hoping to assemble 35 boxes to supply all of the police cars and fire trucks.
More information can be found on the Findlay Police Department Facebook page.
