Written by on August 7, 2019

The public is invited to Findlay Civic Choir’s summer concert, directed by SeaHwa Jung, University of Findlay’s director of choral activities.

The performance will be offered Sunday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. at Marathon Center for the Performing Arts.

Tickets are $20, and $15 for UF students with valid ID. Visit the performing arts center’s box office at 200 E. Main Cross St. or visit www.mcpa.org.

Vivaldi’s “Gloria,” accompanied by an orchestra and local soloists, will anchor the concert. Other music will include Gershwin’s “I Got Rhythm,” arrangements from “What a Wonderful World,” and Billy Joel’s “Lullabye.”

This marks the second year for the intergenerational Findlay Civic Choir, which began as Findlay Summer Choir.

Choir members, which include musicians from UF and the community, have rehearsed weekly since June for this concert. A winter concert is also planned.
