Fiery Crash Claims the Life of Two Ben Logan Students

A crash in Logan County Wednesday afternoon claimed the life of two brothers.
WPKO Radio reported that a car driven by 16 year old Robbie Smith, of Bellefontaine, traveled off the west side of Township Road 230 where it struck a tree and burst into flames.
Smith and a passenger, his 14 year old brother Wyatt, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The two were students at Benjamin Logan, and the crash occurred shortly after school was dismissed Wednesday.
The school was on a two hour delay this morning.
The crash remains under investigation by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
