Employee Injured During Findlay Armed Robbery

An employee at a business in Findlay was injured during an armed robbery that occurred early this morning.

 

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, a white male suspect entered the Exxon store at 1831 Fostoria Avenue, brandished a handgun and demanded all the money in the cash register.

 

The employee began to walk to the register when the suspect struck him in the face with the handgun.

 

The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

 

He fled the store and ran westbound behind the apartment complex next door.

 

The employee suffered injury to his mouth and upper lip.  He was seen by Hanco at the scene, but he refused transport. 

 

This incident is still under investigation at this time.
