Elmer Pack, Jr., 76, of Belle Center, passed away at 7:15pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at the Ohio State University Hospice Unit. He was born in Beckley, West Virginia on September 4, 1942 to the late Elmer, Sr. and Verda (Hall) Pack. He graduated from McGuffey High School in 1960. On October 28, 1961, he married the love of his life, Martha Stone, and they celebrated 57 years of marriage.

He is survived by a son, David (Joann) Pack of Perrysburg, OH; two daughters: Julie (Nathan Rush) Pack of Scottsdale, AZ and Amy (Chris) Hogan of Ft. Wayne, IN; and two grandchildren: Corina Pack and Gabe Hogan.

Elmer joined the Laborer’s Local Union 574, Marion, OH in 1970. He was a member of the Kenton Church of Christ and was baptized in 1977. He also served as a deacon. He enjoyed reading, hunting, and fishing, and participated in many Bass Tournaments at the Quarry. Above all else, he enjoyed time with his family and fishing with his grandchildren. He was a man of faith and family and has many friends he leaves behind.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, April 4, 2019 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Thomas McBrayer and James Hites officiating. Burial will be private at Preston Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials can be directed to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd.
