Demolition Work at Gormley Park in Forest Started Monday

Demolition work at Gormley Park in Forest got started ahead.
Crates Excavating and Forest Village Service Crews began demolition of the Gormley Park Pool House and Open Pit Toilets on Monday. They were scheduled to get started later this week.
The demolition of the pool house and removal of concrete makes way for the New Splash Pad construction in April.
The Open Pit Toilets were recently deemed dangerous by local authorities and have not been utilized for the past year.
The Village of Forest Parks and Recreation Board continues to explore options for permanent Restroom Facilities and an additional shelter at Gormley Park.
