Delmar Manns of Kenton, Ohio left this world peacefully to go home to Jesus on July 9, 2020.

He was born in Waylon, Kentucky on April 23, 1934, to the late Thomas J. and Ethel (Howard) Manns.

He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Janet Lee (Burba) Manns of Kenton.  Together they had three children: surviving son, Dean Quintin Manns of Kenton and he is preceded in death by son, David Lee Manns and daughter, Deborah Ann (Manns) Harris.

Delmar, lovingly named Papper and Woody by his six grandchildren is survived by: Destiny (Justin) Titus of West Mansfield, Melissa (Patrick) Zell of Rushsylvania, Autumn Manns of Ridgeway, John Harris, Jason Harris, and Jerrod Harris.  He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are two brothers: Russell (Pat) Manns of Charlotte, NC, and Tommy (Tina) Manns of Troy, Alabama; two sisters: Eveline Ratliff of Kenton and Bernice (Gene) Ratliff of Kenton.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Albert, Alvin, and Burnie Manns; and three sisters: Mattie Leffler, Alma Jean Woods, and Pauline Manns.

Delmar will forever be remembered for his love of playing gospel and classic country music on his Alexa device, tinkering with CB radios, and wheelin’ and dealin’ with anyone who would entertain it.  Aa a believer, one of his favorite scriptures was Psalm 34:19: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
