A Dayton woman was cited on Saturday following a traffic stop.

Officers received a be on the look out call about a reckless operated vehicle north bound on State Route 31.

An officer who was stationary on the south side of town observed the vehicle matching the description coming into town and followed the vehicle. The officer did not observe any moving violations but did run a check of the license plate. Dispatch advised the plate on the vehicle expired in August and belonged to a different vehicle.

The officer conducted a traffic stop on North Main street and found that the driver, 22 year old Mikayla N. Davis of Dayton, did not have a driver’s license due to F.R.A. suspension. The officer also noticed the temporary tag had been altered. Davis was cited for fictitious plates and for driving under an F.R.A. suspension.

The vehicle was impounded by Osborn’s Towing.
