David Lafferty, 74 of Kenton
Funeral services for David Lafferty will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, March 28, 2019 at The Price – McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Jason Manns officiating. Burial will follow in Hueston Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to the service on Thursday.
He died on Monday, March 25, 2019 at his residence. He was born on February 7, 1945 in Arlington to the late Robert and Ruth (Smith) Lafferty. On September 17, 1966 he married Betty Lightner and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 2 sons; David II and Rick (Belinda) Lafferty both of Kenton, 4 sisters; Peggy (Carl) Krout, Shirley, Phyllis and Linda.5 Grandchildren Brad (Daisey), Ricky (Stacey), Angel (Mike), Erica (Jason Elwood) and Dayvona Lafferty. Great Grandchildren; Dave, Landon, Zeyden, Xaine, Drake and Hayden Argabright. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson; Brandon, a granddaughter; Ciera and brothers; Norman (Thelma), Cloyd and Glen.
David loved his family. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, riding his Roundabout in the summer and doing Find-A-Word puzzles.
