Written by on March 4, 2020

Barnes & Noble @ UNOH is hosting its 5th Annual Winter De-Stress Fest before finals week begins for students in the Colleges of Applied Technologies, Business, Health Professions, and Occupational Professions.

The event is free, open to all UNOH students, and will take place at the bookstore on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The De-Stress Fest will feature the following activities:

.Dog Therapy – Studies have shown that a little love from our furry friends can relax even the most stressed-out person by lowering cortisol levels and increasing oxytocin and endorphin levels. Students will have the opportunity to cuddle with some puppies before taking on their final exams.

.Shamrock Hunt – Clues will be given on Barnes & Noble @ UNOH’s social media channels as to where the shamrocks are hidden around campus. If found, students can turn them in for a variety of prizes.

.Giant Jenga – Students will be able to take the fun of game night to new heights with Giant Jenga. The stacking game everyone knows and loves has been super-sized to make a tower eight times the size of original Jenga!

.Stress Balls – Students will be able to make their own stress ball to keep on hand during those exhausting study sessions to help calm their nerves.

Students in attendance will also have the opportunity to sample the new shake flavors now being sold at the Barnes & Noble Café!
