Ben Logan Boys Golf Team Wins Match Against Urbana

The Ben Logan boys golf team defeated Urbana Tuesday at Liberty Hills 173-181.
For the Raiders, Ethan Ricketts was medalist and led the way with a 36 followed by Trey Allen with a 43.
Other scores were: Jacob Mitchell 46, Alex Naragon 48, Bryce Loomis 50 and Aiden Elsass 51.
Coach Chris Conley said, “After shooting 165 on a strange course the day before I expected better being home but that’s the way golf is. At any rate we will work hard the next couple of days in practice to get ready for 3 matches next week.”
The JV’s also won 223-235.
Leading the JV’s were: Luke McKenrick and Owen O’Brien with 53’s followed by Carston McCain with a 54, Brandon Vogelsang with a 63, and Gage Hamm with a 64.
The Raiders will be back in action next Monday (aug 26) hosting Graham at Liberty Hills.
