Ben Logan Boys Golf Team Takes First in CBS Post Season Tournament

The Ben Logan boys golf team took first place in the CBC Post Season tournament Thursday, beating regular season and previously unbeaten Graham by a single shot.
Coach Chris Conley said, “It was great watching the boys battle the course and come away with the win. We’ve been talking a lot about eliminating the mental mistakes and big numbers and while we aren’t there yet we have made progress.”
For the Raiders, Ethan Ricketts led the way with a 81 followed by Alex Naragon 85, Trey Allen with a 89, and Jacob Mitchell 92.
Rounding out the scoring was Luke McKenrick 106, and Bryce Loomis 107.
The Raiders next action will be sectional play at Reid Park next Tuesday.
Scoring was Ben Logan 347, Graham 348, Urbana 375, Indian Lake 380, Northwestern 382, and North Union 443.
Ethan Ricketts was 1st team all conference, Alex Naragon 2nd team, Jacob Mitchell honorable mention and Bryce Loomis Sportsman of the year.
