(UPDATE) Arlington School on Lock-down Due to Emergency in the Area

The Arlington school building is currently on lock-down due to an emergency near the school.

According to a posting on the school’s Facebook page, the students and staff inside the building are safe.

Officials at the school are in contact with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, and they are asking that no one come to the school so emergency personnel are not disrupted.

Students not already at the school are being asked to stay home or where they are until the all-clear has been given.

The Findlay Courier reported that police are searching for an adult male suspect who is said to have injured two females, one adult and one juvenile.

The incident occurred at a house on West Main Cross.

The suspect is said to be driving a red HHR Chevrolet.

The victims were taken to area hospitals.

There condition is not known at this time.
