American Legion Celebrating 100th Birthday

The American Legion, also known as the first Veterans Non-Profit organization in the world, will celebrate its 100th birthday on March 15.
The birth of the American Legion took place in Paris, France immediately following the armistice of November 11, 1918.
As the largest veteran service organization with 55 departments, both foreign and domestic, celebrations will take place globally up until Veteran’s Day of this year.
The American Legion Department of Ohio will celebrate by hosting the Ohio Legion Centennial Ball on March 15 in Columbus.
