Aleen A. Litzenberg – Roby, 86 of Kenton

 

Funeral Services for Aleen A. Litzenberg-Roby will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at The Price – McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Steve Hess officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit from 4:00PM till 8:00PM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the funeral home. 

 

She died on March 8, 2019 at Hardin Hills Health Center. She was born on May 3, 1932 in Findlay to the late William and Irma (Bushong) Leach. On June 9, 1951 she married Edwin Litzenberg and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1995, she then married Richard Roby and he preceded her in death on November 5, 2008. 

 

Surviving are 2 daughters; Pat Pringle of Kenton and Judy (Joseph) Dietz of North Canton. 1 son; James (Marie) Litzenberg of Kenton. 1 sister; Judy James of Alabama. Grandchildren; Charles (Angel) Dietz, Katrina (Steve) Eschweiler, Trevor Dietz, Garth (Dawn) Pringle, Thane Pringle, Kegan Pringle and Kelly (Clay) Kohnen. 4 Great Grandchildren, Numerous nieces and nephews. Special Friends; Debi, Randy and Alex Bleile. 

 

She was preceded in death by a Son-in-law; Fred Pringle, 7 sisters; Eloise A. Stevenson, Helen C. Waaland, Shirley Wells, Miriam Houck, Rita Leach, Dorothy Patronski and Wilma Vanatta. 5 Brothers; Caro, William, Edwin, Jack and Harry Leach.

 

Aleen was a member of the Goshen Grange.  She worked as a waitress at Point Restaurant for 11 years and was also a home health aid for a number of years.

 

Aleen enjoyed shopping, traveling and listening to all types of music, but her true joys were her grandchildren and laughing with her family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, Hardin Hills Activity Fund, or the Goshen Grange Scholarship Fund.
