4 Month Old Baby Killed in Fulton County Crash

An accident early this morning in Fulton County claimed the life of a 4 month old baby.
According to a release from the Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway patrol, Erik Makula, from Delta, Ohio, lost control of his car while driving west on County Road R.
The car went off the road and struck several trees.
A backseat passenger, 4 month old Edan Makula, was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo where he died.
The driver and a front seat passenger, 18 year old Jessica Wilson, were both taken by helicopter to St. Vincent’s Medical Center with serious injuries.
The baby was in a child seat, but was not secured properly in the seat.
The crash remains under investigation at this time and no charges have been filed.
